Stuart’s story
The work that High Level do for people in the community is invaluable. They help people to get their lives back on track. Their patience and empathy, just being there. You never know when you may be in need of that someone, just to listen, without judgement, and offer the right words at the right time. If I can raise some money to help this charity to keep doing what it does so well and keep making that difference, then that means a lot to me.
I want to start my challenge on the 15th of June (which coincidently happens to be in the middle of Men's health week) - the coast to coast hike is approximately 300km in 10 days, I'll be carrying all of my gear, camping and hiking across the lake district and Yorkshire dales from the west to the east coast of England (with a fair amount of uphill in there too!).
As I mentioned above, you really never know when you might need that help from someone, and with mental health issues continuing to rise worldwide it is so important that the services required to give that support are there when its needed.
If you can make a donation, no matter how small, myself and High Level would be so very grateful.
Thank you for reading.
