Graham’s story
The Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run is a bi-annual event that has long been on my 'to do' list, especially as it provides both a challenge and the opportunity to raise much needed funds for a good cause. The event covers around 2000 miles around Britain in 48 hours, in an old Triumph car (the youngest is now 40+ years old) and this year it's for a great cause - Parkinson's UK.
Team Beryl (the Peril) consists of me and my son Adam, and my brother-in-law Ross. The Triumph in question is a 1972 Triumph 2.5 P.I which I bought in haste during lock-down and it inevitably turned out to be not quite as advertised. I've been working through a long list of issues and it continues to receive a lot of my attention to give it the best chance possible of completing the event successfully.
Every penny donated will go to Parkinson's UK, as I am covering all costs associated with completing the event (as are the other entrants), and any donation that you are able to make will be very gratefully received. Most of us know someone who's life has been impacted by Parkinson's disease so lets help the event raise enough to make a real difference.
Fundraising Targets
All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.
