Jonathan’s story
My wife Deb and I will be cycling from Liverpool Docks to Hull, a distance of some 170 miles over the weekend of 12-14 June 2026. Whilst we have done longer distance cycling before, this will be a challenge for us both as our bikes have not been out of the garage much yet in 2026!
However, we are doing this in the hope of raising much-needed funds for CatZero, a Humber based charity that supports individuals and families to overcome personal barriers and move towards employment, education or training. They offer long term, relationship-led programmes, tailored to individual needs, building confidence, resilience and life-skills.
Like most charities, it depends on local goodwill and funding, along with programme income and private sector match funding - so anything you are able to contribute will be very gratefully received by the team at Catzero - and may help Deb and I ignore the aching legs and bottoms!
Thankyou!
