Sue’s story
Hi !!! My challenge is in under two weeks time on 27th September 2026 to swim round Brownsea Island a distance of 6.7km.
It is my first swim challenge to support my daughters charity. 'Serve On' are an international disaster response team who respond to flood rescues and major incidents such as earthquakes and hurricanes. She challenges herself with continous training to help save lives. I am a very proud Mum.
She encouraged me to sea swim for fitness, social and recovery from a hip replacement.
I swim with amazing people every weekend who have all supported my swimming achievements. This challenge has increased my swimming, giving me a goal for personal growth. I wish to raise funds to aid others to live a full and forfilled life.
