Ettie’s story
For my birthday this year, I'd love to raise some money for a charity that has become really close to my heart, Care and Relief for the Young (CRY)! ❤️
CRY is a Christian charity that works alongside local partners around the world to bring hope and lasting change to children and communities facing poverty, injustice and incredibly difficult circumstances.
Through their partners, CRY supports projects that help meet children's basic needs, provide access to education, create safe and loving environments, and give children opportunities to grow and flourish. Their work is about so much more than meeting immediate needs. It's about helping children know that they are valued, loved and have a future full of possibility.
Having had the privilege of working with CRY over the past few months, I've been able to hear some of the incredible stories of the children, families and communities whose lives are being changed through this work. I've been particularly struck by the dedication of the local partners, who work tirelessly to make a difference in their communities, often in very challenging circumstances.
So, rather than birthday presents this year, I'd love to use my birthday to support CRY and the incredible work they do. Whether it's a few pounds or something more, every donation will help CRY continue supporting children and communities around the world.
