???????? Belfast to Balayan BBQ Fundraiser | Supporting Ten Foundations’ Housing Project ????????
Join us on Friday, July 28th, for our 6th BBQ fundraiser. This is the 4th year that we’ll be supporting Ten Foundations, and we’re excited that this year, we’ll be supporting the Ten Foundations' housing project. This Northern Ireland charity celebrated its 10th anniversary last year, and we're embarking on an ambitious mission to bring the organization to the next stage by building 50 homes for families of the livelihood program in the Philippines.
Ten Foundations not only seeks to raise funds but also invites you to become part of the hands-on effort in Southeast Asia. Our founder, Ian Campbell, aims to bridge communities by fostering a unique fundraising partnership between those here in Northern Ireland and the charity beneficiaries in the Philippines.
Founded in 2012, Ten Foundations was born out of a heart-wrenching encounter with poverty-stricken families in the Philippines. To make a difference, we set up a workshop empowering women to sew schoolbags, which are then sold here in Northern Ireland. This follows an ethos of 'teach a man how to fish, feed him for a day, teach a man how to fish, feed him for a lifetime' - the art of empowering individuals to develop a skill to sustain their livelihood is the driving force behind Ten Foundations being set up.
With your generous support, we can transform the lives of families living in shanty-style bamboo homes. Every penny counts, as Ten Foundations operates with minimal overheads, and your contribution will directly impact these deserving families. A team from Belfast is planning on traveling to the Philippines in 2024 – you could be part of it!
Join us for a meaningful evening of community, delicious BBQ food, and a special raffle with fantastic prizes. Never mind ‘The TenFoun-tinis Cocktail Bar’ will be open, serving a wide variety of drinks. Plus, card payments are accepted for your convenience.
