Paul’s story
Hi, Paul here. I've decided to run the AJ Bell Great North 10k on 2nd July 2023, so not long to go. I have Stage 5 Polycystic Kidney Disease and am currently on the transplant list. I only started running in January to try and improve my health before my transplant and am now about to do my 10th parkrun. I am enjoying it so much I thought I'd give the Great North 10k a go and raise some money for a great cause in the process. TKPA have supported me, my family and many others across the region affected by kidney disease. Any donations to this fantastic organisation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone, Paul.
