Buddhist Vihara’s story
We have already paid the deposit. This noble deed cannot be done without seeking support and donations from all of you. This appeal is urgent. We have eight weeks to collect the necessary funds in order to complete the purchase of the property. We need your help now, today.
The Bristol Buddhist Vihara has served Buddhist and broader communities in the South West of England, Wales, and Ireland from a temporary residence for many years. To better serve the community , we are planning to purchase a permanent property. Hence this kind request to show kindness and compassion by contributing generously to the tremendously meritorious deed of offering a suitable monastery for the wider communities in the South West of England.
Bristol Buddhist vihara was established in 2012 as a Charity. We teach the Buddhist way of life, offer meditation and language classes, organise celebrations, cultural events, and offer counselling to promote good health and relieve stress. We provide for individuals and families' social and spiritual needs over a large geographic area covering the southwest of England, Wales, and Ireland.
After many years of searching, we have now found a perfect place for setting up the Bristol Buddhist Vihara in a permanent site in Bristol with easy access to all communities served.
The activities of the Bristol Buddhist Vihara (BBV), for the last eight years, have been conducted from residential accommodation, facing many challenges due to space limitations and restrictions on services offered from a residential location.
Any donations made will be much appreciated, and sharing this meritorious deed with a compassionate mind for the welfare, benefit, and happiness of the whole universe will bring countless merits. Your donations will help to meet the shortfall of the mortgage loan's deposit requirement for purchasing the suitable property for the vihara.
