Joe’s story
I'm running the Great North Run for the 2nd time. Last time was just after Covid and the route was altered to start and finish in Newcastle, so this will be my first time running it proper. I'm raising money to support Remembering Rebecca (RR) as part of my Auntie Lisa's wider fundraising efforts.
Remembering Rebecca provide support and assistance to children with neurological conditions and their families. They have supported my lovely cousin Isabelle and our family, in a whole range of ways: from funding a specially adapted bike, providing emotional support, sharing knowledge and experiences, social events and even a trip to New York!
I would love to raise some money so that Remembering Rebecca can continue to support families like ours with the specialist equipment and support they need. I know times are tight for everyone, any amount no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated and go to help many families in need of the support provided by RR.
