2nd Horsham’s story
Mabel and Ned are taking on The Downs on Saturday 3 October. They are hiking 55 and 25 miles respectively in a Scouting competition, where hundreds of Scouts, Explorers and Vets race over a 24-hr period. They will be putting their stamina, determination and teamwork to the test.
They are simply doing this for fun, but also to help raise funds for an incredible adventure with Scouts in Switzerland next year! Their trip will celebrate their Scout Group’s 100th anniversary! The trip will give them the chance to experience the amazing outdoors, take on new challenges, develop independence and confidence, and meet Scouts from around the world.
Every donation, big or small, will help Mabel and Ned get one step closer to their Swiss adventure. If you can spare anything to support their challenge, they would be incredibly grateful! ❤️
