Mayo’s story
I served in the Australian Navy, and I know firsthand what the sea can do for a person. It builds resilience, discipline, perspective and belonging in ways that are hard to explain until you've experienced it.
That's exactly what CatZero does for disadvantaged young people and veterans right here in Hull and the Humber. Through sailing and outdoor challenges, they give people the tools to rebuild their lives, find their confidence and discover what they're capable of.
On 12 June 2026, I'll be joining a group of riders for the CatZero Cycle Challenge, pedalling 170 miles from Liverpool Albert Dock to Hull over three days. Day one takes us through Manchester to Stockport. Day two crosses the Pennines to Doncaster. Day three brings us home to Hull.
Every pound you donate goes directly to funding CatZero's programmes, keeping young people and veterans on the water and off the streets.
Please donate whatever you can. It genuinely makes a difference.
Thank you for your support.
