Sponsorship Appeal: Driving for a Cure – Supporting Parkinson’s UK
This October, We’ll be taking part in the legendary Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run — a 2,000-mile endurance rally that tests both car and driver to the limit. Over 48 hours, We’ll be piloting my classic Triumph GT6 Mk1 through day and night, from Knebworth to Land’s End om to John o’ Groats and back, with no backup crew and no margin for error. It’s a celebration of engineering, resilience, and community — and this year, We will be driving with a deeper purpose.
I’m proud to be raising funds for Parkinson’s UK, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s and accelerating research toward a cure. Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that affects over 145,000 people in the UK — and every mile I drive is in support of their journey.
🚗 Why Sponsor This Drive?
- Endurance with Impact: This isn’t a Sunday cruise. It’s a non-stop, sleep-deprived, fuel-soaked challenge that pushes classic cars and their drivers to the edge — all for a cause that matters.
- Every Pound Counts: Your support helps fund groundbreaking research, vital support services, and advocacy for those living with Parkinson’s.
- Personal Commitment: I’m covering all costs of the run myself — so every donation goes directly to Parkinson’s UK.
Whether you’re a fellow petrolhead, a supporter of medical research, or simply someone who believes in making a difference — I’d be honoured to have you on board.
💙 How You Can Help
- Sponsor a Mile: £0.01 per mile = £20 raised!
- Make a Donation: Any amount, large or small, fuels the mission.
- Spread the Word: Share this journey with friends, family, and fellow enthusiasts.
Together, we can drive change — one mile at a time.
Thank you for your support.
