Gaby’s story
My name is Gaby - I am the proud Chief Executive of Villiers Park Educational Trust and a very proud mum to my wonderful son Marlow, who has recently learned to ride his bike. In October I am challenging us to cycle 50k between us - this works out at just over 5k for the two of us every weekend with a few extra cycling days thrown in for good measure!
Villiers Park is a national social mobility charity. We deliver programmes that develop personal and employability skills and raise academic outcomes for young people aged 11-19 from under-represented backgrounds.
We believe every young person should have an equal opportunity to excel at school, at university and in their careers. Our programmes increase aspirations for learning and motivation, develop academic, employability and personal skills and raise attainment.
The 1000km Challenge will support our flagship programme, Future Leaders, ensuring that we benefit as many young people through this programme as possible.
