Hertfordshire Boat Rescue is a volunteer charity.
Hertfordshire Boat Rescue provides drowning prevention education within Hertfordshire, as well as responding to national flood disasters and water based searches.
As with many other charities, funding is becoming scarce, so we are having to find more creative ways to bring in money to the service.
Enter the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!
Myself and teammates Stuart, George, Chris and Joey will be undertaking the 24 mile steep undulating hike, to be completed within a 12 hour time frame.
Now none of us are athletes and all have varying degrees of fitness, but are willing to take on this challenge if it means we can raise some much needed funds for a worthy cause.
Of course, times are still tough for everyone so appreciate pennies may be tight but any donations would be greatly appreciated.
We will try and keep you up to date with our progress along the way, as well as on the day!
