David’s story
Hello and welcome to our fundraising page.
We are taking part in the 2025 Club Triumph Round Britain Run (RBRR ) to raise funds for the Parkinsons UK charity.
We will be using David's 1971 Triumph Spitfire.
Club Triumph has run this event bi annually since 1966 . The RBRR has had a charitable aspect since 1990 and since then the Club has raised over £900,000 for various charities. We hope to surpass one million pounds with the total for this year included . There will be approximately 90 cars taking part with a crew total in the region of 220.
The event starts at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire and we head through the night to John O Groats in Scotland. Then by way of Wales and Lands End in Cornwall we finish back at Knebworth House 48 hours later. There are Control Points along the way manned by Club Marshals but no overnight hotels. The event is 2 days and 2 nights driving. It is an addictive event with a great camerderie shown by all those taking part whether driving or helping out . It is a challenge of course but a great way to spend the weekend driving and seeing some of the best parts of the United Kingdom.
