Cath’s story
Gusdog the Boston Terrier is a therapy dog for Canine Concern. He goes into a care home on a regular basis and gives cuddles and a lot of loving to many residents. Lots of the residents had their own dog in the past and miss them dearly and so Gusdog gives them the chance to have some canine cuddles again.
Gus works under the Canine Concern umbrella which ensures that he has been assessed as suitable for human interaction and insures him for any unfortunate eventuality.
Canine Concern is a charity and relies on donations and although members pay a nominal year fee, this doesn’t even cover the cost of the insurance they are covered with.
