Abbie’s story
Myself and my son Alex have been volunteering at Leeds Area RDA for nearly 4 years and see the huge difference it makes to the riders who come here. They get so much out of spending time with the horses and can progress so much with coordination, balance and confidence from the riding. Keeping horses is never cheap and money is always needed for new saddles, food, rugs etc and we would love to help out with this.
Alex has always wanted to do the Velocity zip line in Wales, the fastest zip line in the world, and I thought I always wanted to do it as well but now I've signed up for it I'm slightly terrified due to my fear of heights! So I thought if we're raising money for a good cause there's no way I'm going to back out!
