Andrew’s story
I've been taking part in this event since 1996 - this will be team Sheds 14th run ,'Homer' Hobson being the co-driver on each event -I always seem to be up against the clock building a car to take part -cars I've scraped off the shed floor to take part have included Dolly Sprint ,Triumph 2000.Triumph 2500,GT6 ,Spitfire 1500, TR7 and now 'Gappy' the S**t box -a 1964 MK1 spitfire bought as an unfinished project - I know now why it was unfinished! - major bulkhead/A post and sill surgery being called for to get the doors to fit - having to take a grinder to a restored tub with new panels that had been put together very badly is very demoralising-but at least I am fit and healthy to do all these daft things and enjoy life so please donate what you can !
