** UPDATE May 2022 - Fantastic news! Team Regis has arrived in John o'Groats! What an incredible effort from the children. Please sponsor generously!
** UPDATE April 2022 - We've just passed Inverness with 241km left to go! We have some children running in the Corsham 2K on 24th April so their miles will also count towards this challenge. Adults running the Corsham 10K on the same day to raise funds for Friends of Regis are very welcome to also use this fundraising page to collect donations if you prefer not to set up your own page, although only the children's miles will count towards this challenge.
** UPDATE November 2021 - Whilst we may currently be physically separated in class bubbles or isolating at home, we are still able to take part in our fundraising virtual run as a whole school community. Whether that's running in the park, at school or laps of the garden whilst isolating, every step counts. We've just reached Edinburgh with over 1000km under our belts. Thank you to the children for their incredible efforts.
** UPDATE September 2021 - We are so excited that the Corsham 2K and 10K will be taking place on Sunday 26th September. We have a wonderful team of 17 children and 4 adults who will be running to raise funds for us. The children's mileage will also go towards the virtual run as outined below - the team are (virtually) currently just arriving at the Scottish border on their way from Lands End to John O'Groats! We are so excited to be able to combine a REAL race with our virtual event. (Adults mileage in the 10K won't count towards the virtual challenge but we are so proud of them putting their running shoes on to raise funds for our school)
ORIGINAL POST - May 2021 - Whilst we can't run the Corsham 2K at the moment and our usual fundraisers are off limits, we are still keeping active by running as a team to cover the distance from Lands End to John O'Groats to raise money for our school. This is a staggering 1530km! Please keep us motivated to hit our distance target by sponsoring our young runners! Money raised will help to provide fun activities and resources to support our children's education and wellbeing.
