Chris’s story
I have decided to take on Ride London 100 Cycle challenge on Sunday 28th May 2023 and raise money for The David Ashwell Foundation.
As most of you know, David also died of the very rare condition called Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia (ACD) that our first son Alex died of in 2011.
David’s parents set up the foundation so that UK citizens could donate in honour of our babies and raise money for research into the condition.
The research is conducted in America and all monies raised in the UK is collected with monies raised by the ACDA association in the US to bid for research grants.
Every penny donated is put to fantastic use to learn more about the condition that our babies died from.
Any donation, big or small will be gratefully appreciated and help make the challenge that bit easier.
The Ford Ride London 100 will start in front of Buckingham Palace with James & Jojo cheering me on. The riders will then cycle the organised event through the streets of London, over to Essex and back to finish on Tower Bridge.
Thank you in advance for your donation
Chris, Jo & James xx
