Nasif’s story

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read this.
My name is Nasif, but I am known by most as Nij. My wife Caroline (also known as Rosie), tragically lost her brother Lee to suicide, on October the 26th 2023. I have chosen to run my 39th marathon in honour of Lee - as well as dedicating this to his children and Rosie's side of the family.
The charity - The Matt Palmer Trust was chosen by Rosie as it raises mental health awareness, training and support for free across the UK. All proceeds will be directly sent to the charity via this site. You can read more about the charity on the following link:

Any donation, large or small will be greatly received.
You are able to track my training progress via my Instagram page (if interested!) on the following link:

For anyone interested, Rosie, Noah and myself (obviously), will be in Manchester on Saturday the 13th of April 2024 into Sunday the 14th - which is the day of the marathon - so anyone who wants to join us, is more than welcome.
Thank you again.
Fundraising Targets
All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.
