FOBS’s story

This September, 2 Badgemore School parents will be taking on the Chiltern Challenge. An epic walk, run or jog through the hills of the Chilterns. For most of us a 25km or 50km walk through the hills sounds challenging enough but Jonny and Jeremy both aim to run the distance to raise valuable funds for their children's school. Jonny is setting off on the 50km course which includes 900m of climb (in case you're wondering that's about the same elevation as climbing Scafell Pike) whilst Jeremy is taking on the 25km challenge with many of those same climbs included.
The route follows the Thames to Henley Bridge, then out into countryside on Shakespears Way, Icknield Way, and Chiltern Way with rest stops enroute.
With physical activity at the heart of the challenge, funds raised will support Friends of Badgemore School to enhance the children's access to sports and the outdoors through investment in the playground and other active equipment.
Please give generously to support Jonny, Jeremy and thew whole community at Badgemore School.
