National Sikh Police Association’s story
The National Sikh Police Association, in partnership with local UK Sikh associations, is proud to launch a nationwide community fundraising series dedicated to advancing critical medical research for childhood ALS and Motor Neuron Disease (MND).
Because rare pediatric neurodegenerative conditions receive so little funding, we are coming together as a community to help pioneer life-saving genetic research, targeted breakthrough treatments, and specialist care for affected children.
Officers, staff, families, and supporters across the UK are invited to take part in our upcoming fundraising challenge series:
Fundraising Event Series
1. The Seven Sisters Coastal Trek (Our Flagship Event)
The Challenge: A scenic 13.6-mile walk along the chalk cliffs from Seaford to Eastbourne.
Get Involved: Join us on the trail! We ask all participants to seek sponsorships from friends, family, and colleagues to help us maximise our impact - using the fundraising link as a collective.

2. Family & Community Walks
Accessible, family-friendly walks hosted locally across the UK so everyone, from young children to elders, can walk together for the cause.
3. Cake & Bake Sales
Delicious community bake sales organised at local stations, Gurdwaras, and community settings to raise funds and spread awareness.
4. Other Community / Gurdwara Events
A variety of local initiatives and gatherings designed to bring people together and raise vital funds for medical research.
