Suzy’s story

Hi there, so I’ve signed myself up for what I hope will be a fun night, if I can manage my nerves! The main goal is to raise as much money and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease Association, MNDA, through the Grange School Parents Association.MND affects up to 5,000 adults in the UK at any one time, with a 1 in 300 risk across our lifetime. MND is a life limiting disease with no known cure. As the disease progresses symptoms can be managed to enable a best possible quality of life for those living with the illness. The MNDA charity need your support to ensure they can continue their essential research, care and support for all affected by MND including families and carers. However nervous I may feel on the night, I will focus on being in the fortunate position to be stood there as a contestant with the opportunity to make a difference. I should mention I have dance experience from my childhood but not in Latin or ballroom - plus it was quite a while ago now! I absolutely can’t wait for the costume & sparkle, so let’s see if I’ve still got what it takes in the spotlight?!?! Please dig deep if you can and support this very important cause.Thank youSuzy ???? xxx
