Nathanael’s story
Hi friends, Please help support the Bethesda Burundi Project run by The Kepplewray Trust.
https://www.kepplewray.org.uk/bethesda-burundi
I have been training for over a year to complete an Ironman, a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike & 26.2mile run (a marathon!). All, hopefully, under 12 hours! I would like to invite you to help my efforts go to a good cause by sponsoring me to donate to the Bethesda Burundi project.
In 2023 Burundi is THE poorest country in the world with over 85% of the population living in extreme rural poverty, lacking water, electricity, food and basic medical support. 40% of people are under 12 years old and struggle with undernutrition, lack of education and extremely high rates of disability due to illness. My family are working with this project personally, travelling to Burundi to help in situ in reaching out into the rural communities with medical support, nutrition education and supporting people with disabilities to be included in their communities and to be self sufficient.
Your donations will go far further than you can imagine, from providing wheelchairs for those who have become disabled to providing much needed physiotherapy and access to medical care. The goal is to raise enough for a years salary for one full time staff member as well as additional medical equipment.
A pair of wooden crutches costs: £20.00
A single wheelchair costs: £250.00
£400 pays the salaries of 3 full time staff for a month.
Your pound goes a very long way in Burundi - please give generously!
