Sylvia’s story
I'm a partially-sighted Army veteran and I am painfully aware of the many Vets who are on our streets. This is my way of helping. I can't do much but I can walk. I have what' termed as a disability, which I don't like because disabled means can't do, whereas, unabled means can't do the same as you. I firmly believe that where there's a will, there's a way. IN 2015, I completed the Santiago de Compostela solo and in 2018 I walked solo from John O'Groats to Lands End with accommodation help from church communities along the way. I'm hoping to get the same help on this walk, which will take five months. I start on 10th April in Truro and finish at Exeter Cathedral on September 9th. Please help me help all homeless people in the Exeter area. Every little helps.
