Thank you for visiting Chris and Roy’s ‘Wonderful’ page. We have entered a serious challenge to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK. For 50 years Parkinson’s UK has campaigned for better health and care services, funded research into new treatments and build strong, supportive communities for sufferers of Parkinson’s. Our challenge to deserve your support for Parkinson’s UK is the Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run. It is a gruelling endurance event in which we drive 2,000 miles uninterrupted from Knebworth to John O'Groats to Land's End returning to Knebworth via checkpoints over a weekend. It is not a race and it is regulated by Motorsport UK who impose stringent safety standards. We will offset the CO2 generated by our car through the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs carbon balancing scheme .

As if this were not enough of a challenge, we will be doing it in a 40 year old Triumph Acclaim. Which is as I am often told when I fill it up, “Just like my dad had”. Unfortunately, it is 35 years older :-{
