Luna’s story
On Sunday 11th October, I'll be making what can only be described as an excellent life choice: walking barefoot across burning embers to raise money for Cabaret vs Cancer 🔥! Armed with nothing but determination (and perhaps questionable judgement), I'll be taking on the fire walk for a cause that's far more important than my temporary discomfort! 🔥🖤

Cabaret vs Cancer's mission is clear: to support those affected by cancer. Since 2016 they have partnered with child bereavement teams in local hospices, providing them with essential tools and resources to support children coping with the loss of a loved one. They also collaborate with various organisations to support people dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
Almost four years ago, I lost my most important person to cancer: my mum. I went through the hardest period of my life since her diagnosis two years prior, and I know how difficult it is to deal with grief and how fundamental it is to have the support of others. For this reason, I have started volunteering with Cabaret vs Cancer, trying to support them as much as I can. This time, I am walking on fire in celebration of her memory and to raise money to help Cabaret vs Cancer continue providing their incredible support! 🔥
