Jake’s story
PHINIA are taking part in a Dragon Boat Race on Sunday 24th May this year, organised and run by the Medway Sunlight Rotary Club. We will be racing forty foot long, elaborately decorated, Chinese war canoes with a dragon's head and tail attached!
We are raising £250 for Medway Sunlight Rotary Club, who are supporting the following charities:
- Marie Curie (raising awareness on the issues affecting dying people and those close to them, allowing them to access high quality care)
- Alzheimer's and Dementia Support Services (help people affected by dementia to take back control of their lives)
- We are Beams (provide support for young people with disabilities and their families)
- Wetwheels South-East (unique opportunity for disabled people to access the water; helping to broaden aspirations and increase confidence and wellbeing)
