Buttercup’s story
It's been 11 years since Dave (Pumba) did the London to Brighton bike ride (52 miles). Dylan (Abu) is now old enough to do it as well so on Sunday 15th June they will be taking part in the British Hearts London to Brighton bike ride. Please dig deep to sponsor them as all funds will be going towards the much needed new scout hut roof!
2nd Durrington Sea Scouts has been a big part of the community for many years. Dylan started at 2nd Durrington when he was 6 and has come full circle now being able to help out at beavers as a young leader (known to the children as Abu). Pumba (Dave) has been a beaver leader for many years but also gets involved in various activities across the group (target sports are his favourite). Both love being out doors, camping and making fires but when was the last time they went cycling?
This will be a great challenge for them both but also a lovely way to help support a cause that has brought so many great memories to them and many others via scouting.
