Robert’s story
Thank you very much for the offer, to probably make a fool of myself! However being a fool is not my main concern, if I can focus on the REASON why, then my mere embarrassment is nothing!
MNDA has taken the life of two close friends from Warrington Rugby league Club over the years, and continues to affect the lives of not just Rugby stars such as Rob Burrow's,
but many normal folk.
The way in which attacks the body slowly, is un describable and horrendous to watch, support is needed not only for the victim, but for the closest families, who watch the decline of their loved ones.
Please do what you can to pledge any funds no matter how big or small, I will do my best to embarrass myself in aid of such a caring and wanted charity.
I keep no secret of the fact that I have danced before on behalf of another charity, alas it was some years ago, let me tell you there are no favourite's, I manged to drop my then partner in the rehearsals, which made me even more nervous when it came to my turn.
Added to this, you can't even have a tipple in the waiting room, whilst all you folks are out front, enjoying your dinner and getting slowly sozzled and in the mood. I can guarantee you all a great night, full of nerves laughter and maybe the occasional tumble (hope its not me this time).
Game on...............Not certain if i can hide the male pregnancy stomach, with the tight trousers , flashy top, heels and spray tan...but sod it lets have a laugh.
