Cotham Gardens’s story
Leading up to World Book Day - Thursday the 5th March 2026 - we invite you all to help raise funds for our school by taking part in this year's PTAF SPONSORED READ!
Each child pledges to read to someone... or something... in any language... a total of 15 times!
Everyone who participates will get a bookmark AND be entered into a prize draw. One lucky winner from each year group will receive a specially selected book.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter, just fill in your reading list to show us what amazing stories you've been reading, and hand it into your class teacher by the end of the day on World Book Day (Thursday the 5th of March).
Paper copies of this reading list will be sent home with your children on Monday the 9th of February. If you'd like to print your own, please visit our ClassList event listing for additional details.
SPONSORSHIP
To raise funds, we'd encourage you to ask whoever you like to sponsor this event; family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues, your dentist... anyone! All funds raised are used by the Cotham Gardens PTAF to support the school, from buying library books to playground decorations.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Donations should be made here; our Wonderful.org fundraising challenge page. If you'd like to sponsor someone, just hit the donate button and fill in the details. You can make these anonymously or leave a message of encouragement to your keen readers. The PTAF receives 100% of the donation, no fees (this platform really is wonderful!)
Fundraising Targets
All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.
