In February 2026, 75 young people from Wardle Scout Group and Smithy Bridge Scout Group will be heading off on an unforgettable international adventure to PGL Paris. That's nearly 500 miles from home... and we're going to hike every one of them. In a single day!
On Sunday 13th July, every section of our groups (from 4 - 18 years old) will take part in a huge collective challenge: hiking local routes of varying distance, together covering 500 miles in just one day. All routes will finish at the same destination, bringing everyone together to celebrate this shared effort.
We're aiming to raise £500 to help reduce the cost of this amazing experience for our young people and their families. Every pound you give will help make international Scouting more accessible - opening the door to personal growth, new cultures, and lifelong memories.
