Mudlife Crisis

On 8th May 2027, Remy and I will be taking on the Tough Mudder 5K to raise money for a charity that means a great deal to us: Clean Slate.

Clean Slate is particularly close to my heart because I have personally benefited from the support they provide. I know first-hand how important it can be to have somewhere to turn, and to have people there to help you find a safer path forward. Being able to give something back to a charity that has supported me personally makes taking on this challenge feel even more meaningful.

Luckily, we are not alone! Joining us on our adventure of mud, sweat and tears will be Alfie, Rhys and Ryan. Is this a midlife crisis? Maybe. But we prefer to call it a Mudlife Crisis.

I've never exactly set my sights on running — especially not running through mud, climbing over obstacles and generally putting myself through things that are designed to test both your physical stamina and mental grit! So, naturally, I thought a Tough Mudder was a perfectly sensible idea!

But for a cause this important, I'm willing to get very muddy indeed.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help support Clean Slate's work with people affected by domestic abuse, helping provide the practical support, confidence and hope needed to move forward.

Our target is £500, and we'd be incredibly grateful for any support you can give us in helping reach it. Whether you donate, share our fundraiser, or simply cheer us on while we're crawling through the mud, it will mean a huge amount to us.
