PTFA Voluntary Fund

As some of you will be aware, last year, we introduced the Bridge & Patrixbourne Voluntary Fund. At the beginning of each school year, we would like to encourage a donation from parents of £10 per child, reducing to £8 per child if you have more than one in the school. This would enable the PTFA to achieve key objectives to continue to improve our children’s, already wonderful, school lives throughout the coming year in addition to our annual fundraising. We are fully aware of the challenges facing everyone financially in the current climate, so any donation, big or small, would be welcomed and would still benefit your children.

Towards the end of last year, through this platform and additional funds raised, we were able to purchase two minibusses for the school. This was a huge achievement and we thank you all for your support in this.

In previous years the PTFA funded the children’s request for new playground markings, purchased ipads for the school and other smaller ad hoc things.

The PTFA have also supported OPAL by funding additional equipment and resources including the sand for the sand pit and the new shed, and we would like to be in a position to continue to grant these types of requests.
