🚣‍♂️💦 Staff vs. The Dragon Boat Race for a Great Cause! 💦🚣‍♀️

What happens when a group of determined (and slightly competitive!) school staff swap their classrooms for a Dragon boat race? Chaos, laughter… and a whole lot of splashing! 🌊
We’re taking on the ultimate challenge — racing our Dragon Boats down the River Medway — all to raise as much money as we can for some truly amazing charities. 💛 and our incredible school
There may be wobbles. There may be soggy shoes. There will definitely be questionable designs… but behind all the fun is something that really matters.
Every paddle, every cheer, and every donation helps us support causes that make a real difference — both in our school community and beyond. 🌟
Here are just a few of the amazing charities our donation will go to:
We are beams - providing comprehensive support services to children and young people with any form of physical, learning or sensory impairment, supporting the whole family through a range of services that directly benefit and assist those dealing with the challenges of raising a disabled child
Marie Curie- raising public awareness and influencing decision-makers across the UK on the issues affecting dying people and those close to them, so that more people can access high quality care and support when and where they need it most.
Alzheimer's and Dementia Support Services - through their many services they aim to help people affected by dementia to manage their symptoms, stay engaged with family, friends and the wider community and take back control of their lives.
Wetwheels South-East - “Barrier-Free Boating”. Wetwheels offers a unique opportunity for disabled and disadvantaged people of all ages – including those with multiple, profound and complex impairments – to access the water. Central to our experience is active participation – helping to broaden aspirations, increase
confidence and directly impact on health and wellbeing
