Bessam’s story
Since October 2023, the situation in Lebanon has drastically destabilised, culminating in the latest events of March 2026 and the subsequent invasion and conflict which has led to the displacement of over a million people, mainly women and children.
I am hiking in the Lake District to raise funds for the crisis in Lebanon. Donations will go through the Mancom charity, which provides aid/supplies for the affected people in Lebanon.
My route will cover the Old Man of Coniston, an 800m-high fell.
