chris’s story
I am Chris Spinks I have just retired from working on HGV's for the last 45 years. I am a big time Triumph enthusiast. Looking forward getting my 48 year old Triumph TR7 to complete this mammoth journey around the United Kingdom. My co pilot is my nephew, Richard Bunning so we are really looking forward to this event.
We both completed this event back in 2016 and completed with only minor breakdowns.
We will be leaving Knebworth House around 6pm Friday 3 October, travelling north to John O'Groats for breakfast. We will then be turning south, via Wales, to Lands End and finishing back at Knebworth House, on the evening of Sunday 5 October. Covering nearly 2000 miles in 48 hours.
This year's chosen charity is Parkinson's UK.
