Neil’s story
Hi, I am taking part in the Peak District Challenge 2025, 25km walk to raise money for the Healing Paws Animal Rescue. My aim is to raise £1,000 towards the escalating day to day costs for Sue to feed, treat and provide safety for the abandoned puppies and dogs.
My wife, along with her friend, found a dog abandoned in a car park in Zakynthos and Healing Paws rescued it a week later. The dog is now adopted and living a happy life in the UK.
Sue Deeth has a tireless commitment to rescuing and the rehabilitation of vulnerable and stray animals, that is why I am trying to raise some money towards their ambition of creating a new animal shelter in Zakynthos.
