Not for adrenaline. Not for a dare. But for something far more important.
This fire walk is deeply personal to me. 🔥
Cancer is not just a word or a cause I’m supporting from a distance — it’s something that has touched my life in the most harrowing way. My mum lost her life after facing a third battle with breast cancer. Watching someone you love fight so hard, with so much courage, and still be taken far too soon changes you forever.
That’s one of the reasons I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and walking across fire to raise money for Cabaret Vs Cancer.
This incredible charity supports people who are facing cancer — providing help, support, and compassion when life becomes unimaginably difficult. No one should have to face cancer alone, especially while worrying about how they will cope.
Walking across those hot coals will be nothing compared to the battles that so many people — including my mum — have faced with strength and dignity. Every step I take will be in memory of her, and in support of others who are fighting their own battles right now.
