Aidan’s story
It is all too easy to see how life events and/or illness could lead anyone to a point where they become homeless and vulnerable. Once homeless, society is often blind towards the reasons why a person is in that situation and when help is most needed, official support is often lacking.
The Snowflake Trust provides crucial support to help the homeless and vulnerable to integrate back into the community. Among many selfless volunteers, I deliver hot meals to people who have been hit by crisis and need support and kindness.
I have never been homeless, I have always been fortunate to have family and friends to provide that crucial safety net if things ever did start to spiral out of control but it is very easy to see that many people do not have that network and rely on charities such as the Snowflake Trust to stop the free fall when the worst happens.
I plan to take one month out of work to hike and camp along the Cornish section of the South West Coast Path and fund raise for the Trust, which does such valuable work for vulnerable people in our community.

All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.
