Emma’s story
Excellent treatment for anterior uveitis at Bristol Eye Hospital has meant I can exhibit my artwork today. From my sudden diagnosis in 2012, to the fantastic news that I am now in remission, I have been given speedy, high quality and compassionate care. Eyesight is such an important sense for every-one, and this becomes even more so on receiving a diagnosis adversely affecting that. I would like to give back to the organisation and people that have supported me on my ten-year journey to protect my eyesight. This is why I am raising money for Friends of Bristol Eye Hospital. Any funds collected through my “Everything I Can See” exhibition will be put towards such essentials as diagnostic equipment, and facilities to improve hospital visits for patients and their families. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be very gratefully received and make a huge difference to Bristol Eye Hospital patients. Thank you!
