Lesley’s story
The MTW Paddlers are a group of people made of staff and friends of Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, making our debut in the world of dragon boat racing on 25 May. What we lack in Dragon Boat experience we will make up for in enthusiasm and a positive team spirit. Together we are excited to take part and dive into this challenge, although we are definitely NOT planning on diving into the dock !!
Half of all the sponsorship raised will go to the MTW charity and the other half will go towards the Medway Rotary Club who are organising the Dragon Boat Race.
The Dragon Boat Racing is taking part alongside the Chatham Maritime Food and Drink Festival and we would love for you to come along to support us.

All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.
