Chloe’s story

We are supporting Cross Ash PTFA in their annual Three Castles Walk. Meredith, age 5, will be walking from home in Grosmont to Whitecastle. Please donate what you can!

Cross Ash Primary School Parents Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA)

Cross Ash Primary School PTFA aims to enhance the education of the pupils in the school. We encourage and help develop relationships between the school, parents and the wider community. The money we raise through holding events and activities is used to purchase equipment and improve resources throughout the school.

Official event

Three Castles Walk 2023

Come and help our school to raise money for enriched learning opportunities, such as sporting, adventurous activity or musical events by taking part in this fantastic family sponsored event.


We hope to encourage everyone to get involved as there are 5 different routes to choose from to suit all abilities, with a choice to join a 'led' group, or walk independently. Choose from:


1. Whitecastle-Grosmont-Skenfrith-Whitecastle (19 miles)

2. Grosmont-Skenfrith-Whitecastle (12 miles)

3. Skenfrith-Whitecastle (7 miles)

4. Grosmont-Whitecastle (7 miles)

5. Whitecastle circular (1.5 miles)


Parking, refreshments and toilets will be available at Whitecastle, where all routes will finish. 


All participants will receive a badge on completion and prizes will be given for the children with the most amount of sponsorship money raised in Grosmont, Whitecastle or Skenfrith castles!
