Roanna’s story
My name is Roanna, and I work for a charity called CatZero. We are a personal development charity based in the Humber area that works with different groups of people to help them to overcome the barriers that are facing them. Restorative Practice is at the heart of what we do, empowering people by working with them to understand and solve their problems now and in the future. We consolidate a lot of our work through our 72ft challenge yacht which allows people to experience a new environment, and shows people that they can learn new things and quite literally take the helm in their lives.
On the 3rd May I'm going to cycle from my home in Hull to Hornsea along the TransPennine Trail/National Cycle Route 65 and back again. This route will be approximately 25km each way.
By my estimates, the furthest I've cycled in a day before is roughly 10km to work and back, so this is going to be quite a trek for me.
I would be beyond pleased if you would support me in my madcap adventure.
