33rd Norwich Scout Group

"Jessopp Road Scout and Community hub" run by the 33rd Norwich Scout Group is green community space in the heart of Norwich. We are surrounded by tree's and a small wooded area which offer a great outdoor space which is secure but also peaceful and bring nature closer to our community.The Jessopp hub currently helps 100's of local young people every week through the various groups using the site. These range from toddler messy outdoor play, Scout group ages 6-25, Forest School supporting local schools, toddler music group, adult fitness club to many a few who use this fantastic space. We have a old Scout hall on site but it is not longer fit for purpose that can't offer the basics. We are going to build a new log cabin hall fit for the future. Its been designed and to be built in keeping with its surrounding. It will offer a large hall for the bigger groups, a meeting room for small sessions & meetings, catering sized kitchen and also a wide wrap around porch to allow to stay outside even in poor weather. We are very luck to have secured £900k from the Youth Investment Fund to build our new community hall. But we still need your help and support! This amazing funds do not fund any fixtures and fittings, so we are looking to raise £10,000 to purchase the essential tables, chairs, kitchen equipment, notice boards to change this from a empty hall to a full and active community space. Our fundraising team continues to work hard to raise this money. But please give generously to help us get this vital community project done.
