Who we are

Leicestershire Cares is a charity that exists to create change through connection.

We bringing together the right people with the right organisations to create communities with a drive towards common goals and mutually beneficial opportunities.

What we do

We enable people and organisations to share skills, experiences and resources. We connect those in need with those who have the resources to give. We give disadvantaged young people the opportunities and tools to reach their full potential and give individuals and businesses the opportunities to give back, donate, help and inspire.

Our vision

To create an inclusive and safe Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland where nobody is left behind, and all children and young people are supported to reach their full potential.

Our Work

Our work covers three areas :

Youth

We support care leavers, young people who have experienced the judicial system, refugees, asylum seekers and more. Our young people benefit from business volunteer support through our work placements, mock interviews and employability sessions.

Education

We work closely with schools to help young people gain valuable employability skills and experience.

Community Development

We give a range of support to diverse community groups across Leicester City and County to develop skills and capacity to help local people thrive.
