Swindon Hindu Temple & Cultural Centre is a "Hindu Temple, Cultural Hub and Centre of Excellence" in Swindon to bring communities together and enhance the lives of thousands in the region. It is one of the most vibrant and welcoming places in the region and also a hub for social, community, cultural, charitable causes and activities for everyone including children, youth, women and elderly people. The Temple has faced the worst in the last couple of years – with multiple incidents of break-ins, theft, vandalism, loss of electricity supply, desecration of religious altar, items & artefacts, which then led to the loss of the premises and the only Hindu Temple in the county for more than 10,000 strong Hindu community. Since then, the Trust has taken another premises on lease and re-established Swindon Hindu Temple again at the start of the year. Swindon Hindu Temple needs your support and solidarity now to refurbish the new premises as a temporary home first for next few years and then to build a Hindu Temple of traditional architecture which will be the permanent home for the Temple for generations to come. Please donate generously - we are immensely grateful for your kind support.
