Muslim Futures

Muslim Futures is a UK-based international relief and development charity that works to provides support to the needy and vulnerable, crossing all boundaries and cultures, and promoting sustainable, economic, and social development by working with local communities, regardless of race, religion, gender or background.

Established in 2010, Muslim Futures’ aim is to alleviate poverty and hardship, by improving access to essential life-critical services, personal development and self-empowerment.

Inspired by a desire to not just improve, but positively impact on accessible learning and empowerment opportunities, Muslim Futures has facilitated the engagement of the British Muslim and non-Muslim community in support of its work in a direct and personalised approach that provides focused and tangible support to the needy and vulnerable, sick, disabled, widowed, and orphaned.

Our humanitarian projects aim to tackle deep-rooted causes of endemic poverty by developing sustainable long-term development programmes across education, health and livelihoods. We develop and implement individual programmes of support to respond to a range of localised issues, including famine and orphan support across Asia and East Africa, health and welfare in Pakistan, Palestine and Yemen, and the refugee crises affecting Afghanistan, the Rohingya and the Syrian people.

Within the UK, we have actively supported a range of community development initiatives such as supporting rehabilitation, clothing collections and distribution, refugee support, education and working with young people. Muslim Futures also supported victims of the Grenfell Tower disaster.
