Menston Area Nature Trust (MANT) is a charity aimed at creating, enhancing and protecting habitats for nature in and around Menston. MANT is currently raising money to pay back the generous loan from Julia Davies of We have the Power (https://wehavethepower.org) which enabled MANT to put in the winning bid for Weston Woods. MANT would also like to create a network of wildlife spaces in Menston through encouraging and developing nature friendly gardens and outdoor areas. Longer term the charity would like to create community nature reserves.
